The Story
One job description, two completely different stories: the Islamic Development Bank's corporate procurement portal across 57 member countries, and the International Handball Federation's global platform for 209 national federations. The first was greenfield enterprise Drupal. The second was a teardown — a 5.8k-line controller and full-table scans that had to be unwound under live load.
What I Built
- Decomposed IHF's 5.8k-line controller into 18 single-responsibility controllers.
- Replaced full-table scans with paginated COUNT queries and server-side autocomplete.
- Architected the IsDB Corporate Procurement microsite from scratch — 50+ tender workflows.
- Integrated AWS CloudSearch and Campaign Monitor on the IsDB stack.
